Two finalists have been selected following a search for the next president of the University of Wisconsin. UW announced Friday that Jay O. Rothman, of Milwaukee, and Janes C. Schmidt will interview Tuesday with the Special Regent Committee and other UW System executive leaders, after which a recommendation will be made to the full Board of Regents, who will make the final decision on hiring a new UW System President. A decision is expected by the end of January, according to the release.
