The Albert Lea Public Library is thinking outside the box to help kids learn. The library is offering ‘hands on discovery kits’ people can check out to have a more complete learning experience, staff said in a release to the press. Each kit contains one or two books and items related to a theme designed to help provide a more comprehensive learning experience. The library has 11 discovery kits, including bird-watching, science, hiking and more.
