(ABC 6 News) – An historic Albert Lea building is getting some TLC. The front of the Jacobson Building in Albert Lea will have repairs made this year, thanks to a grant from the Minnesota Historical Society, which will provide half of the repair costs, up to $276,500. The Albert Lea City Council voted Feb. 14 to accept the low bid of $301,500 from a St. Paul restoration company for the project, the Albert Lea city planner said in a release.
