Icy roads are being blamed for multiple crashes in Freeborn County

Albert Lea, MN – Icy roads are being blamed for multiple crashes in Freeborn County Monday, including a fatality. The first crash occurred during eveing rush hour on I-90 when a car driven by 21-year-old Abigail Quelle of Lyle lost control and rolled in the median. She and a passenger were taken to Albert Lea hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State patrol says a man was killed after two semis collided on I-35 near Clarks Grove. 62-year-old Bradley Oachs of Rosemount died at the scene. The other driver and a passenger were not injured. A one car rollover wreck also on I-35 near Clarks Grove sent that driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
