Chad Kohagen, current superintendent for Lake Mills Community School, is leaving. Members of the district’s board of education were made aware on Feb. 23 that Kohagen will finish his contract with Lake Mills, and his final day will be June 30. School board members have begun the search for Kohagen’s replacement and the position is being advertised following Kohagen’s resignation. The board will meet Thursday to review applicants. Candidate interviews are expected to be conducted March 31, with finalists to be determined for an April 12th interview. Applications will be accepted through Sunday.
