An Austin man convicted in connection to a 2021 drug trafficking case will spend nearly a decade behind bars for his crimes. Robert Edward Collins is charged with selling a total of 33.7 grams of methamphetamine and 23.57 grams of heroin to a confidential informant on four different occasions in Austin in May of 2021. The 46 year old was recently sentenced in Mower County District Court [Thursday] to seven years in prison.
