(ABC 6 NEWS) – The city of Austin will soon see some changes. During Monday’s city council meeting members approved the purchase of a new fire truck, a limited use permit agreement to add a new bike trail in Southwest Austin, and the city will also reconstruct 1st Ave. NW from Oakland Ave. W to 1st Dr. NW in the summer of 2023. The city will not receive the new fire truck until 2024.
