‘Bogus bomb bandit’ sentenced in Freeborn County Court

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – The man who called in a fake bomb threat last year to a Freeborn County school is going to prison. Albert Lea police say deputies were serving a theft warrant on Anthony Jerome Woodraska, 33, at a residence on 3rd Avenue S, when he barricaded himself inside the home, and then called in a bogus bomb threat to Lakeview School in an attempt to divert the police so he could escape. Woodraska was sentenced to a total of one year and 11 months behind bars.
