A Cannon City Township man was convicted of 29 felonies recently in neighboring Rice County, just north of Albert Lea. Evidence presented at the more than 2 week long trial showed that 48-year-old Paul Scott Seeman, would buy junk vehicles and put the license plats on stolen vehicles to resell the illegaly titled vehicles. Seeman is looking at 8-12 years in prison for just the racketeering charge. Seeman is also facing a felony assault trial that is pending in Steele County. There is also a pending DWI charge from an arrest in Dakota County in 2020.
