A Mower County judge has ordered a Hugo man to prison for a 2021 domestic standoff with authorities at a residence on Oakland Avenue West in Austin. 36-year old Shawn Christopher Wlaschin [a lashin] has been sentenced to 26 months in prison for a felony charge of possession of tear gas or a stun gun. The 36 year old was also convicted and sentenced Thursday to 90 days in jail for a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault and was given credit for 90 days already served.
