Mower County Sheriff’s office assists with fatal head on collision that shut down Highway 56

ABC 6 News) – The Mower County Sheriff’s office was called in, along with multiple other agencies, to assist with a fatal head on collision that shut down Highway 56 near Waltham during Thursday afternoon rush hour. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 61-year-old man was killed when his vehicle, which was heading north collidied with a vehicle traveling south near 320th. Highway 56 just south of the Mower- Dodge county line was closed for several hours during the investigation.
