ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A trial date is set for an Albert Lea man accused of a violent domestic assault last month. Jason Lee Beloate is charged with domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, after police say an argument with a woman on March 5 escalated to the 41 year old threatening to “bash her head in,” before he pushed the victim through a shower door, and then began hitting her with closed fists, and holding a knife to her face. His trial is scheduled to begin on August 16.
