MASON CITY, Iowa – A final sentence was handed down for a local teen in connection to a double-stabbing last year. David Daniel Gordon, 18 was ordered Monday to spend 10 years in prison for an incident on April 1, 2021, in which Gordon and two others attacked an a man and a juvenile in neighboring Mason City, just south of Albert Lea. Court documents state one victim was stabbed in the back and the other was stabbed in the head.
