Fued between Freeborn family that left father hospitalized, resulted in probation for son

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A fued between a Freeborn family that left the father hospitalized, resulted in probation time for the man’s son. Brandon Lee Crews, of Emmons, accepted a plea deal in connection to the domestic dispute, in which the 31 year old is accused of beating his father with a baseball bat, breaking the man’s jaw, and ramming his dad’s pickup truck into a semi his brother was driving, as the trio fought about personal property. Crews was sentenced Monday to up to two years of supervised probation.
