No one was injured when a single-engine aircraft crashed at Owatonna’s Degner Regional Airport, according to police. The incident happened Friday night when the aircraft departed from Mankato during a training exercise that involved an emergency landing and upon approach to the airport, the aircraft went off the departure runway and came to rest on the belly of the plane. The FAA is handling the investigation into the incident.
