(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Albert Lea Police Department has identified a suspect involved in a shooting Sunday [May 1]. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Louis Street and when they arrived, what sounded like gunfire rang out, before deputies then found a 34-year-old man outside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital System in Albert Lea. Police say 19-year-old Javen Juan Moreno has been linked to this incident. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or who may have witnessed this crime is urged to call the Albert Lea Police Department.
