Two Austin men have been sentenced to prison time in two separate cases in Mower County District Court. 32-year-old Jessie Darrell Downer, who is currently serving time in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault was sentenced to 19 months in prison on drug charges. And, 34-year-old Alberto Gonzalez Garcia, also currently incarcerated in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Rush City was sentenced to 23 months in prison for eluding in a 2021 incident.
