[N/Albert Lea] – If you were planning on attending the big fireworks show at Father Hennepin Park you’ll have to find another Fourth of July celebration. The city announced earlier this week that the annual “Red, White, and Boom,” 4th of July celebration will not be held this year due to construction at the park
and staff shortages. This is the third year in a row that the Independence Day show over the Mississippi River has been canceled.
