AUSTIN, Minn. – A Faribault teen burglar will be going to jail for nearly a decade. Elias James Wells, 19, pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree burglary and was sentenced Wednesday to nine years behind bars. The Austin Police Department says Wells broke into two homes and tried to break into a third on March 14. He was found hiding under a large bean bag in someone else’s home and was arrested.
