Frontline workers in Minnesota could be getting some extra money in their paychecks

Good news for frontline workers in Minnesota. According to the state, those who qualify will be receiving a one-time payment of $750 from the state of Minnesota. To see if you qualify visit the state website for a list. The Frontline Worker Pay application will be open through July 22.

If you don’t qualify for the Frontline Worker Pay, Governor Tim Walz is rallying for tax refunds. The proposal includes a payment of $1,000 for individual filers earning less than $165,000 and $2,000 for couples earning less than $275,000. The governor has called a special session to try and get the tax rebate legislation passed.
