(ABC 6 News) – A Sioux Falls teen has reached a plea deal in connection to a drug deal gone bad in which an Austin man was fatally shot last year. Miguel Nunez Jr. pleaded guilty Wednesday during a remote hearing in Mower County District Court to 2nd degree murder for the death of David Harris who was fatally shot at his Austin home where police say, Nunez Jr. had gone to buy marijuana and threatened to shoot everyone if he wasn’t given the drugs, according to court documents. A sentencing date for Nunez Jr. has been set for October 27.
