An informational meeting for anyone interested in participating in the annual City Archery Deer hunt will be held this evening [August 18]. The meeting will be held from 6 to 7pm at the J. C. Hormel Nature Ceneter where attendees will be provided more information about the annual deer hunt. An archery proficiency qualifying test will need to be passed in order to participate in the hunt. Those tests have been scheduled for August 24th, and August 27th, at the Cedar River Archery Club.
