Austin High School ‘celebrity treatment’ gets students excited on first day

AUSTIN, Minn. – Austin High School rolled out the red carpet for students heading back to class. Actual red carpets led through the front doors of the building, giving students the celebrity treatment on their first day.
School officials said the goal was to stir up some positive energy in the building and get students excited about coming back to school, following the last couple of years of COVID. Homecoming for Austin High School kicks off in three weeks.
