An Austin man pleaded guilty in a 2020 cross-border chase. Weston William Zuehl, 39, was charged with fleeing police after The Lyle Police Department says an officer who knew the 39 year old’s license was canceled saw him driving along Highway 218 and he sped off prompting a pursuit that crossed the state line and forced another vehicle off the road to avoid a collision. A sentencing hearing is set for November 10.
