(ABC 6 News) – An Austin woman has accepted a plea deal in connection to a 2020 drug possession case. Elizabeth Marcoot pleaded guilty Monday to the charges and will receive a stay of execution with no additional jail time as part of the plea agreement with prosecutors. The 54 year old was arrested in September of 2020 after a narcotics search at the County Side Inn Motel on East Main Street in Albert Lea.
She is set to be sentenced Oct. 13.
