Minnesota man quickly arrested after fatal stabbing attack

[n/albert lea] – A 52-year-old Minnesota man was quickly taken into custody after a stabbing attack that left a 17-year-old Minnesota boy dead and four others with critical injuries on the Apple River in Somerset, Wisconsin just north of Albert Lea. The four other victims were taken to a local hospital with what were described in police reports as “torso injuries” and a “range of knife wounds.” Authorities said at this time they do not have a motive for the stabbings and the sheriff said that the 52-year-old suspect was among one of two groups that were tubing on the river.
