Shooting in broad daylight left man dead outside home in rural Albert Lea

(ABC 6 News) – A shooting in broad daylight left a man dead outside a home Tuesday afternoon in rural Albert Lea. Police say just before 3:30 p.m., the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 160th St., south of Albert Lea for a report of a person who had been shot during an altercation. The victim died at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and in a statement the Freeborn County Sheriff’s office said the alleged shooter has been identified.
