Waseca County working to fight recent rise in park vandalism

City councils across Waseca County are working to fight a recent rise in park vandalism. One park in Waseca that has seen numerous instances of vandalism is University Park, with the latest involving some kids pulling down water service lines last month which flooded the bathrooms, according to Waseca Parks Superintendent Brad Dushaw, who noted the city has decided to lock the doors to the bathrooms, only opening them for park reservations or rentals. He said vandalism incidents at Trowbridge and University parks are also under investigation.
