KENSETT – Two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash late Friday night near Kensett in Worth County. The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on US Highway 65 when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Maggie Harvey of Northwood crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and struck a vehicle head on, killing the driver, identified as 45-year-old John Hinderscheid of Albert Lea. Harvey’s vehicle overturned in the middle of the road and was struck by a semi. A 3 year old child in her car was killed in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
