An Albert Lea man has escaped jail time after stealing a trailer from Cornerstone Church in Austin last year.
Justin Thomas Rios was recently sentenced in Mower County District Court to two years of supervised probation, stemming from the 2021 theft of the trailer which police said also contained a bicycle that had been stolen from a residence in the city of Hollandale. The 32 year old also must pay restitution and complete 100 hours of community service for the felony charge of receiving stolen property. He was given credit for 75 days already served in jail.
