(ABC 6 News) – The Albert Lea Noon Kiwanis Club is looking for public support to help fund a new inclusive playground and miracle field at Edgewater Park. Residents are urged to cast their vote by Friday for the club in the Legacy of Play Contest, which awards one nationwide Kiwanis club $25,000 in playground equipment. The 10 projects that receive the most votes move on to the final judging phase with the winner to be announced on October 13.
