An Austin man facing a felony charge for violating a domestic abuse no-contact order stemming from a 2021 incident has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court. Willie Padilla, 43, who is currently incarcerated at the Minnesota Correctional Facility at Oak Park Heights was convicted and sentenced Friday to 23 months in prison for a felony DANCO charge. An additional felony charge in the case was dismissed as part of a plea deal.
