A 71 year old New Richland man was critically injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash in Jackson County. Lyle William Schlaak was hospitalized for life-threatening injuries after he apparently lost control of his SUV on I-90, skidded off the roadway and overturned just east of Worthington, in Ewington Township, according to a press release from the Minnesota State Patrol. Exactly what caused the wreck has yet to be determined.
