(ABC 6 News) – A Wells man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Faribault County on Tuesday. The crash happened just before 7 p.m., when, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, a tractor collided with a Dodge Journey it was traveling behind on Highway 22 near 90th Street in Foster Township. The tractor driver, 70-year-old Michael Phillip Wegner from Wells, died at the scene. A 45-year old CA woman and her two teenaged passengers in the Dodge Journey were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. It is unknown what caused the collision, and the investigation is continuing.
