Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) – A South Dakota teen was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison for a 2021 drug robbery murder in Austin. Miguel Nunez, now 19-years-old, accepted a plea deal on a second-degree unintentional murder charge in connection with the death of 45-year-old David Harris, who was found shot to death in his Austin home last year. According to court documents, Nunez went to the victim’s home to buy pot and then allegedly pulled out a gun and tried to rob them, before the fatal shooting, in which Nunez was also injured.
