Wrongful death lawsuit blames alleged drunk driver and golf course for fatal crash

A wrongful death lawsuit blames an alleged drunk driver and a golf course for a fatal crash last summer. The family of Megan Rose Graham, of Fairbault, recently filed a civil lawsuit against Orville Boyd Knott Jr. and the Straight River Golf Course, after the golf cart Graham was driving was reportedly struck by Knott in a pickup last year [2021] south of Faribault, killing her. Both Graham and Knott were headed home from a wedding, and the lawsuit claims the golf course continued to serve Knott alcohol after he was intoxicated. Knott is charged with criminal vehicular homicide in the crash.
