Austin man convicted of child criminal sexual misconduct learns his fate

An Austin man convicted of child criminal sexual misconduct in Mower County District Court is going to jail for a very long time. Dylan Matthew Drees, 26, accused of sexually abusing two girls, ages 10 and 12 on multiple occasions starting in April of 2018, was sentenced Friday to seven years and five months in prison. He was also sentenced to nine years and four months for an additional felony charge. The judge ruled the two prison sentences will run concurrently.
