Man arrested in 2021 traffic stop-drug bust pleads guilty

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A man arrested last year for drugs after a high speed chase in southern Minnesota is pleading guilty. The Minnesota State Patrol says troopers attempted to pull over Matthew Douglas Ingram on Interstate 90 August 10, 2021, and the 36 year old sped away, prompting a police pursuit that reached speeds of 134 miles per hour. Ingram was finally taken into custody in Freeborn County after his vehicle was disabled by police stop sticks. Court documents state 203 grams of meth was found in Ingram’s vehicle. His sentencing is scheduled for December 19.
