A New Richland man is facing felony charges in connection to a domestic assault involving a child. Multiple police departments responded on Nov. 5 to a home where Dylan Delbert Grossell, 30, had allegedly punched a juvenile in the face, and when a man intervened, Grossell hit him in the back of the head with a toilet tank cover, before slashing his arm with a knife, and then attempting to set the man on fire, according to the criminal complaint. Grossell’s next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 21.
