ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A 2023 sentencing date has been set for an Albert Lea man charged in a violent domestic incident. Jason Lee Beloate, 41, pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, stemming from his arrest in March, after Albert Lea police say Beloate had an argument with the victim and threatened to “bash her head in,” before holding a knife to her face. His sentencing is set for February 6, 2023.
