Albert Lea man charged in 2021 undercover drug bust pleads guilty

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A guilty plea was entered during court proceedings Monday by an Albert Lea man accused of selling drugs last year, some of which contained deadly fentanyl. Terrance Dotson Richard, 43, was arrested in December 2021 during an undercover drug transaction and charged with second-degree sale of drugs. The South-Central Drug Investigation Unit says Richard sold 8.41 grams of heroin laced with fentanyl to a confidential informant once in July 2021 and twice in August 2021, according to court documents. His sentencing is scheduled for February 17, 2023.
