Minneapolis man busted with drugs during 2021 Freeborn County traffic stop sentenced

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A 36 year old Minneapolis man busted with drugs during a traffic stop in Freeborn County last year has been sentenced. Matthew Douglas Ingram, was arrested in August 2021 after an attempted traffic stop that led to a high speed chase along Interstate 90 in which Ingram hit speeds of 134 miles per hour, before Minnesota State Troopers depoloyed stop sticks and he was apprehended near miler marker 159 in Freeborn County. Investigators say they found 203 grams of methamphetamine inside Ingram’s vehicle. He was sentenced Monday to nine years and 11 months behind bars.
