Northern Minnesota tow truck operator sentenced in undercover drug investigation

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A northern Minnesota tow truck operator has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after he was caught trafficking large quantities of meth three different times from February 2020 to September 2021. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Officce, the traffic stops that led to 52-year-old Trent Holden’s arrest was part of a drug trafficking investigation in northern Minnesota. He was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Holden’s 12-year prison sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release.
