Sleeping burglar found in bed at Mankato home faces felony charges

MANKATO – A Wells man faces felony charges after he allegedly broke into a home and fell asleep Friday. According to a criminal complaint filed on Monday, the homeowner found the sleeping burglar in his dad’s bed. He wokeup the home intruder who reportedly fled the house without shoes. Police quickly caught up with the perpatrator and he was taken into custody. Adam Joseph Willaert, 41, was charged with first-degree felony burglary Monday in Blue Earth County District Court.
