MASON CITY, Iowa – A few more details have been released about a shooting Monday night just south of Albert Lea. Police said the suspect, identified as Stephen Allen Tidemanson, 24 of Mason City, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on attempted murder and first-degree theft. Tidemanson is accused of shooting a man he was fighting with in the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital. Tidemanson is being held on $100,000 bond.
