ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A trial date has been set for an Albert Lea man who pleaded not guilty to charges of assault with a deadly weapon in connection to a domestic dispute. Rio Santiago Acosta was arrested on November 9 after investigators say the 25 year old stabbed his mother’s boyfriend in the neck with a hunting knife. Acosta is now scheduled to stand trial on February 13, 2023.
