Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) – An Austin woman has admitted to murder charges stemming from two fatal drug overdoses in Austin last year. 43-year-old Yashica Thomas entered guilty pleas Thursday in Mower County Court to two counts of third-degree murder linked to the drug overdose death of a 23-year-old Austin man last March and another deadly drug overdose that claimed the life of a 22-year-old Austin woman in May of last year. In both cases, Thomas admitted that she had sold the overdose victims fentanyl. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 9.
