An Owatonna man is continuing to recover after he was hurt in a snowmobile crash in rural Steele County over the weekend. The Saturday night crash involved a single snowmobile on a trail along the 11000 block of 42nd Avenue SW in Berlin Township near Hope, where deputies with the Steele County Sheriff’s Office, said a 61-year-old man was found “unconscious but breathing.” He was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment of what were described in police reports as, ‘serious injuries.’ The crash remains under investigation.
