The question of who will be Sheriff Jay Dulas’ chief deputy has been answered. The chief deputy at the time of the Nov. election for sheriff was Dulas’ opponent. But, the current city administrator in New Richland, submitted a resignation letter to the City Council at an emergency Jan. 3 meeting, where he announced he has accepted the position of Waseca County chief deputy sheriff under Dulas.
