Albert Lea teen involved in street fight facing assault charges

(ABC 6 News) – An 18-year-old Albert Lea woman was charged Monday with allegedly hitting a man’s head with a golf club hard enough to cause a skull fracture. Alexis Mae Truesdell faces charges of 2nd-degree assault-substantial bodily harm and 2nd-degree riot-armed with a dangerous weapon after a multi-person altercation at the Albert Lea “North Lot” Sunday, Feb. 12, according to court documents. Truesdell was arraigned on assault or rioting charges in Freeborn County Court Monday. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 23.
